i ordered these a few days ago, and i already love them! they’re mad loud, so loud that i wear them around my neck like speakers. Also, there really comfy and they’re not bulky, so i wear them all the time. they look really good to, and of course the sound quality is really nice. as i said, i wear them around my neck and blast them to the loudest setting possible, and the sounds still really crisp and clean. and also, dont take all those reviews that say they snap in half seriously. yes, im sure at some point they will, since they are held together by a little pin, but in the package theres a website you go to to get a lifetime warrenty, and if they do end up snapping in half, you get another pair of em’, free of charge. the box comes with the headphones themselves, a skullcandy stencil ( the skullcandy logo stencil for u guys who like to spraypaint everything ), a skullcandy sticker ( again, the skullcandy logo in sticker form, and on the back it says if you send them a picture of it in a cool place, theyll send you something free )and instructions. oh, and the cords a good lenth to, not to short. i would suggest these to anybody who asked about em’.

I was a leery about ordering these for such a low price (I got them when they were on sale — I think for ?) after seeing such expensive noise-cancelling headphones out there. I mean, if someone is charging 0 for a pair of headphones, then a pair that sells for less than can’t be very good, right? But I can’t afford the 0 pair, and I wanted to try them because I work from home and need a way to knock out the noise from my family. Plus, I’ll be taking a long international flight soon and need as much help as I can get sleeping on the plane. I’d never had a pair of these before so I didn’t know what to expect, if anything. So boy was I blown away when I put these on and turned on the noise cancellation switch! Suddenly, I couldn’t hear the hum of the air conditioner in the room, which is very loud and always present! It also really knocked down the level of noise from my family, so that mostly what I hear is music sweet music I’m not very sophisticated when it comes to music so I probably have no idea what I’m missing with these headphones. But I’m missing what matters to me — noise! I love these and highly recommend them if you’re like me and want to try noise cancellation without spending 0! Oh–they’re not too tight for my head either, which I guess is normal-sized. They cover my ears completely and feel soft and comfy even after wearing them for hours. My only gripe, if I had to give one, is that I’ll probably burn through too many batteries as I keep forgetting to turn the nc feature off when I’m done. Enjoy!

I bought the Sony MDR-X300 for my wife but found I like it better than my Sennheiser CX500-B. It has a wider mid-range dynamic and offers a friendlier bass sound. The ear buds fit and insulate noise well on an airplane. So I bought another pair for myself. The only complaint is there is no remote. A volume control or even an on/off switch would have been ideal.

I am a musician who uses the Aurvana as in-ear monitors on stage. They have similar frequency response but much lower cost than Shure E5’s. The cable doesn’t look as sturdy as the Shure brand, but I have had no cable shorts or breaks after 1.5 years. Noise reduction is excellent.

The package does not include any wrap-around ear forms. If you are a musician or using for workouts at the gym, I recommend purchasing an accessory kit with wrap-around forms. Wear the cable to the back of your head, not under your chin. Move the cable slide snug to the back of your hairline and the buds will stay fixed in your ears.

By far the best earbuds i’ve ever owned! GREAT SOUND and noise reduction.

The asymmetrical cord is odd and i thought it was a mistake/defect at first. The cord is very long for everyday use, but maybe practical for planes, trains, ect. Battery box is a bit heavy and is in the middle of the cord, so you have to clip it to your shirt or something if your moving with the headphones. These would not be great jogging headphones.

I am using these for film editing in a noisy household with TV’s and pets.

I recently purchased the HO900 and at first use was extremely happy with the stereo sound quality and the comfortable fit.

This was however short lived, as the unit begin to generate a very loud humming sound, that can be heard by others, even while I am wearing the headset. It didn’t seem to matter where I was in the house or the distance between the transmitter and the headset.

I contacted Sentry Industries tech support via email and the only response I got was a return email with two links, one to their warranty page, which told me to read my warranty and the other to their return policy page where I was told that I would have to include a .00 check for return shipment of the return/replaced HO900.

In the end, I solved the loud humming sound by replacing the low quality 2-Way Stereo Splitter that was included with the HO900, with a high quality one that has gold contacts, which I happen to have laying around in my spare part box.

Now I am back to being a extremely satisfied with the HO900!!!!
